Folks everywhere are trying new things, creating new solutions to previous problems, growing in so many ways. Getting past plain vanilla.
It’s time for me to do that too.
I’ve long wanted to illustrate my fiction with drawings or collages that I create to enhance my words. And this seems like a good time to ’embrace my inner artist’ and really get into it. Authors in the past (Rudyard Kipling and J.R.R. Tolkien come to mind) did so, and while I certainly can’t match their superb skill, I can learn to at least approach what I see in my mind’s eye.
