Randy Stark, author and journalist, has worked in both the public and private sectors as an administrator over the past 40 years. He has published twenty books of poetry and written for magazines and journals in the USA, Canada, and India.

Born in Chicago, Randy Stark spent most of his childhood in Albuquerque, and his early adulthood in the Los Angeles area. His parents were musicians, thus completing the legendary Route 66 itinerary. Currently he splits his time between Hemet, California, and an hour outside Hemet. His writing career includes published fiction, poetry, and arts criticism in magazines in the USA, Canada, and India. His website contains links to his nearly twenty collections of poetry as well as his blog and other memorabilia. He credits family and friends, along with a bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and passionate colleagues in government and non-profit social services agencies for helping him live a life worth living.
