Are we still here?

Well, of course the photo is much more dramatic than the partial solar eclipse we had yesterday. But if you’re reading this, then obviously you did survive the latest astrological event, and the last eclipse for this year.

Glad you’re here, ducks, and all of you didn’t hide under the bed, as one reader threatened to do. But eclipses can be tricky. Some astrologers think each one’s effects may last up to six months, depending on which planets in your natal chart are affected. I know one woman, a dear friend whose chart I’d read over the years who had experienced a total eclipse of the Sun on her birthday at the same degree of her Natal Sun. She left for the next plane of existence only three months later; however, I must hasten to explain she was also very ill from a severe and ravaging form of cancer. She’d beaten it for four and a half years (and we all began to breathe a sigh of relief) but then it returned and truly she felt released from this plane. Now that isn’t meant to be a harbinger of fate for any of my favorite people – readers of this column.

But while we don’t fear eclipses as our ancestors did, it may behoove us to pause and think a bit about our lives and whether we ourselves are being a blessing or a curse to those around us. Karma can choose its form as well as time and place.

Be kind. Share. And Keep Promises. You’ll be, and feel better for it, and so will your family by choice, your friends and neighbors, and even your pets. Blessings. MZ

    1. Ah, Mr. Stark -Your words are infallibly kind. (Lacking the snark my own display all too often, I fear.)
But as people learn sometimes too little, too late, we’ll hope for the best – and may the tardy find this column still of interest.
