There are going to be many more revealing documents and testaments, and even in this blase, anything-goes culture, there are shocking videos, journals, emails and coded messages so evil that even a Captain Midnight decoder ring would melt at the contents.
As they used to say in the Roarin’ Twenties, “Hellza poppin’!” Maybe we’ll remember some of these Twenties as being tantamount to the Book of Revelations becoming today’s flaming headlines.
All of the outer planets are making their homes in different signs and many of them are traveling in a previously unimagined ‘rat pack.’ Get ready for your favorite soaps to reflect the latest scandal and gossip, because truth is always more odd (often bloodier too) than lies. And many times that truth isn’t what any ordinary human being wants to hear or read.
Dear readers, you surely haven’t forgotten Pluto’s major role in all of the dirt and muck of politics, corporations, hostile takeovers, saber-rattling and private equity deals, have you? Remember we’re just seeing the tiniest fragment of what’s to come, because Pluto takes an incredible amount of time to conduct its erratic orbit. Pluto, god of the underworld in mythology, and ruler of nuclear power, hidden motives and secret deals – being revealed. This tiny planet won’t be throwing the baby out with the bath water. Oh no. It’ll throw the bathtub out while it’s still connected to the plumbing, thus taking the entire house with it.

To repeat : the next six to eight weeks are going to be headlines faster than we can absorb them, thuggery continuing and ordinary citizens simply staying home if they can. Repeat our lessons of the pandemic: get a small stock of canned food (don’t forget pet food), make needed repairs and do deep cleaning around the house if possible, get your vehicle in good running condition and above all, keep a stiff upper lip and stay calm. These are more of the times that try men’s souls, and may I also recommend your reading Thomas Paine’s Common Sense; in particular, the chapter “The Crisis I.” To paraphrase; …”by cowardice and submission, the sad choice of a variety of evils – a ravaged country – a depopulated city – habitations without safety, and slavery without hope …” Together we all say, “No. Not now, not ever.”
Our communities have birthed and fostered us. By coming together with our neighbors, of whatever background or ethnicity, we shall build upon the past 250 years and create a better, more equal America, in which we enjoy the fruits of our labors and the peace of true justice for us all. The tyranny of wealth and greed, the corporations still seeking absolute control, the propaganda-induced rage aimed at ordinary citizens shall not stand. – M.Z.
