Here’s something for all of you, dear readers, to carefully consider.
If you’ve been putting off doing things; tending to the underbrush that’s taken over the yard, fixing the roof, cleaning the gutters, patching the sidewalk … learning to cook a handful of really delicious recipes and making them your own, cleaning the refrigerator, defrosting the freezer … taking that course, getting those transcripts to the degree-granting department, starting the research for your next paper and not falling asleep at your kitchen counter … those items could be construed as ‘procrastination.’ And procrastination is one thing which will bring the Wrath of Saturn down upon your head. Big Time.
Saturn is the planet of responsibility, of meeting deadlines and schedules, of being reliable, dutiful and faithful, and Adulting At All Times. It’s also the chronometer of your life – remember Father Time is often interchangeable with Saturn and its clanking chains of duty.
Think of procrastination in this way – if you continue, you’ll soon see a new vision of Saturn, as it returns either to where it was when you were born, aspects another planet in your chart in a negative manner (a square, an opposition, even a conjunction), or simply camps on your doorstep for at least two and a half years. It’s that bird perched on your shoulder; you know the one I’m talking about, with the stink and the ugly feathers, the red-rimmed eyes and a huge beak for tearing apart its prey – a vulture.
Keep on procrastinating, and that’s the horrible companion you’ll have as you try to go about your day. Don’t do this to yourself. Find a new home for that buzzard and enjoy blessed freedom once again.
You deserve the best life has to offer. And it doesn’t include a horror story riding on your shoulder wherever you go. Set yourself free!
