Well, ducks, did you get to see the New Moon in Virgo last Thursday, September 10? If not, well, you’ll just have to take my word for it that it did happen – and then take my word for the interpretation of same. So there.
Now let’s see what we can make of that astral occurrence. A New Moon gives us all a chance to display some of the more human sides to our psyches – such as hope, a little optimism, maybe more energy. And hopefully you’ve hitched that bit of optimistic outlook to a star – or at least a new light bulb in your old reading lamp – and are embarking on a dream or two of long duration.
As Bloody Mary sang in South Pacific, “You’ve got to have a dream, if you don’t have a dream, how you gonna have a dream come true?” Looking past her name (which wold take too long to explain here), she was right.
And now your turn – dig through the piles of folded-back magazines, old letters, grocery lists, odd stamps and warped postcards and find that scrap of paper upon which you wrote the title of a short story, Act One of your play, or the first four lines of lyrics for your next song.
Now fill in the blanks. I’ll be waiting. Right here. Go get ’em, kid. You can do it!
Your old astrologer has scraped together all the faith of the stars and is now backing you. -MZ
