Still shining?

Well, if you’re reading this, you’ve obviously come through last night’s total Lunar Eclipse with the transiting Moon in Pisces. There may have been arguments, disagreements, two parties feeling equally insulted and storming off in separate directions (Blood Moon indeed) or other emotion-laden happenings. Or if you’re not affected by a Pisces Moon, you personally may not have noticed anything in particular.

With that said, you could kindly offer sympathy to your Pisces, Virgo, Gemini and Sagittarius co-workers, friends and family. I would suggest the Fish and the Virgin are the most off-kilter due to this eclipse. Both Fish swimming in opposite directions, and the Ice Maiden suppressing her feelings are bound to be edgy while dealing with conflict at full tide: what to do when? And how? And why?

Your job is to get them a cuppa and sit down at the table for a few minutes, get them to take a deep breath and realize the world is not ending. In fact, these changes being felt so keenly on a subliminal level may well prove to be quite beneficial. Pisces tends to ‘go with the flow’ and not resist the consensus, even when it’s isn’t a choice they would have made. Virgo also tends to go along with the crowd, not liking to draw attention to themselves as someone openly disagreeing with the popular course of action. Having the right brain and left brain in agreement is much desired by both signs. Remind them eclipse effects aren’t only for 24 hours. Stay calm and think before taking action.

And while I’m at it, don’t use up all your sympathy for the Pisces and Virgo people in your orbit on this first eclipse. The last one this month on September 21 is going to be another gorilla in the room, at least potentially. Remind them of that. Again, the same four signs will likely feel the Solar eclipse most keenly. Keep the teapot boiling and have a handkerchief available – or a whole box of tissues. Your traumatized friends will thank you for it.

Seriously, September 21 is observed as the International Day of Peace. Tell your cohort to stay home and perform a useful public service by meditating on the world at peace. – MZ
