Here we are, apparently entering a new era in many ways … I still anticipate November 19, 2024, the day Pluto finally edges into Aquarius (and doesn’t return to Capricorn until those souls here now are on their next incarnations) with a fervent wish for machinations long hidden to be revealed, in all their sordid greed for power and money. Yes, dirty laundry will eventually have to be cleansed and hung out to dry, as only sunshine can bleach out the corruption which has seeped into the fibers of daily life.
That aside, I’m addressing not only my students but regular readers of this astrology column to announce my decision for undertaking a sabbatical until the New Year 2025 dawns. I’ve been extremely grateful for your support and comments; knowing there were readers ‘out there’ kept this column going in spite of computer crashes, weather-related power outages, brief bits of illness and other oddities which beset any blogger. You’ve all been extremely patient when I simply couldn’t muster up the energy to write an actual blog, and instead resorted to a quote or quick analysis of an upcoming transit or planetary change of signs.
[Here I’ll take a moment to ‘red flag’ the upcoming Mercury retrograde of November 25th to December 15, 2024. All of you, my dear students, know that means to listen carefully to communications, double-check travel plans and reservations and think twice before signing documents. You may also wish to change the news/media outlets you follow, as with Pluto’s relentless stripping off of masks, your chosen news source may prove to be biased.]
I’m still working on my book about astrology; my small publisher has graciously granted me a generously extended deadline for the final manuscript. And I will announce its publication when that occurs.
In the meantime, I wish you the most wonderful holidays this year. Whether you gather with family or carefully-selected friends, join together in peace rather than acrimony. Please raise a toast of encouragement to our country as it struggles to free itself from the dark forces, to fulfill its promise at long last. Meditate upon the phoenix, if you will, remembering it is reborn from the ashes of its former self.
Blessings and peace to you, my friends.
