Learning to be knowledgeable

“‘Every fool must learn,’ he growled, ‘but why trust the knowledge of a brickmaker about jewels? Would you go to the breadmaker to inquire about the stars? No, by my tunic, you would go to the astrologer, if you had power to think. ‘ ” Quote from The Richest Man In Babylon by George S. Clason, copyright 1926

Ah, Babylon, the birthplace of fundamental astrology. More contemporary astrology holds that of the twelve Sun Signs, the two most likely to accumulate wealth are Taurus and Capricorn. These two Earth signs are perceived as having the steadfastness and perseverance to work and save for many, many years in order to become well-off. Keep in mind, however, the other ten signs have their own ways to grow rich. We will pursue that subject in future columns.

For now, in these uncertain financial times, I highly recommend your purchase of a paperback copy of the above book, and then diligent pursuit of its principles. It’s an excellent investment and very low-cost financial advice which may lead you to a much more secure future.

Instead of buying a lottery ticket, get Mr. Clason’s book. – MZ
