A well-worn watering can waiting inside a greenhouse to be utilized in refreshing thirsty plants once more.
Would we show the same patina of use and labor if we considered whether we have refreshed our fellow man with encouragement and example, or are we too busy to render some small measure of aid? Are we helping our neighbors with a cheerful aspect, or sliding into despondency and idleness from listening to negativity? Yes, the world is beset with problems, but there must be means at hand to begin a solution, no matter our age, our wealth or our education. We can always do a bit better. So we must. And we will.
