‘Modern’ astrology

Hello, dear readers – I hope you’re not contending with vicious storms and bone-chilling temperatures where your abode is at this time. Of course, with this huge train of severe storms literally sweeping across our nation, the likelihood of previously-normal weather, no matter where you are, is very faint.

So I thought I might add to your shelf of ‘older’ astrology references. If you’re confined to your home, you may go on the net and find a few interesting volumes. Please forgive me if I’ve mentioned these titles before, but new readers to this column may wish to catch up their reading to match yours.

These will all have to be sought in used bookstores or services on the net, but they’re well worth the hunt! And so, the list:

“Astrology and Your Secret Self” by James Raymond Wolfe, Popular Library, copyright 1970

“A Time for Astrology” by Jess Stearn, Signet Book/New American Library, copyright 1971, 1972

“The Astrologer’s Handbook” by Frances Sakoian and Louis S. Acker, Harper & Row, copyright 1973

“The Astrology of Human Relationships” by Frances Sakoian and Louis S. Acker, Harper & Row, copyright 1976

“Predictive Astrology” by Frances Sakoian and Louis S. Acker, Harper & Row, copyright 1977

You’ll recognize the latter three as my favorites amongst astrology tomes, but if you can only find one book of the trilogy, may you be fortunate in finding “The Astrology of Human Relationships”. Good hunting, and enjoy the search, because you’ll surely run across many other zodiac-centered books. Bear in mind I have yet to find an astrology book that lacked even one pertinent observation or clarification on an obtuse point of interpretation.
