Transits and influences for each of the twelve astrological signs, presented for those still curious about their role in life or the part others may play.
Aries: March 21-April 19
Saturn is still grimly embedded in Capricorn; even though it’s managed a brief sojourn into Aquarius, its greater influence continues in a sign that’s a difficult aspect for an Aries. Right now you likely feel as if you’re waging war against an unseen enemy, and may be frustrated at the apparent lack of progress in getting back to work or into any semblance of ‘normal.’ Don’t give up on creating a new career before you’ve explored every opportunity to somehow bend current circumstances to your iron will.
Taurus: April 20-May 20
While you don’t mind staying home, if you’re not able to work sufficient hours or have savings set back to maintain your lifestyle, you’re beginning to weary of the need for frugality on a daily basis. If you can’t afford to purchase some delicious treats or get that special art print you’ve long wanted for the living room, you’re going to be less and less satisfied with current living arrangements. Try starting a garden; Taurus relates well to the practical and growing even a bit of your own food is soothing to your soul.
Gemini: May 21-June 21
You were one of the first people out the door when ‘shelter in place’ orders were lifted even partially. A Gemini craves constant activity, bustling about, your usual ‘places to go and people to see’ really revs your engine. You do not do at all well in isolation, unless you have some other aspects in your chart giving you more stability and less restiveness staying put. Don’t refuse all constraint however; continue the routine of handwashing and wearing a mask when in public. At some near point in the future you’ll be glad you did.
Cancer: June 22-July 22
You’ve gotten so many projects done while ‘forced’ to stay home, you are even more loath to leave your much more comfortable nest now. With that in mind, why should you? Can you work from home? You’d adjust quickly to transferring your workload to your tidy desk, with a cuppa close by and green plants on the windowsill. Consider carefully the opportunities you may have now to thrive within your own walls, especially if you can keep your family gathered closely around.
Leo: July 23-August 22
Staying at home has worn thin; you’re a ‘people person’ and frankly, need an audience to play to for your creative projects. Is there a way you can explore some new avenues online? What happened to the book you were going to write about dating in today’s odd circumstances? If you can figure out how people can even meet each other to see if they’re compatible, you’ll not only have a potential bestseller but perform a public service as well. Love languishes without an object.
Virgo: August 23-September 22
It’s time for you to stop completing all those little time-wasting ‘shoulds, oughts, and gottas’ and really start producing something of substance. Quit wasting time hand-painting greeting cards and try getting some paint onto either the kitchen walls or a dramatic canvas that can be offered for sale online. No one cares if your sock drawer is neatly rearranged by color and fiber content. And you shouldn’t either. Just for the hell of it, don’t wear socks at all for a week and see what happens.
Libra: September 23-October 22
If you’ve been separated from your life or current love partner for lo, these many days, you’re beyond lonely. If you broke up with your significant other just before sequestration set in, your weeping spells have probably led to mildew growing in your diary. You need to contact some old friends and ask genuine questions about how their lives have been going lately. Offer some sympathy and then follow up with a card or letter in a day or two. The results will surprise you.
Scorpio: October 23-November 21
Now that you have your enemies/frenemies list revised, do something else. Go to work in an altruistic way. Can you perhaps deliver meals or medicines to the elder population without risking your own health? Which of your skills can you use and feel as though you’re striking a body blow to the virus that’s tried to dominate the world itself? Scorpios don’t frighten easily. Use your indomitable courage to show the rest of us that we will eventually win out. Teach the rest of us how to be strong. We need your strength.
Sagittarius: November 22-December 21
Your cheerful viewpoint of most situations may be becoming a little frayed around the edges, just like your nerves. You need to get outside and breathe fresh air. Don’t scorn settling for your balcony; hopefully you can still get some sunshine from there. Ask your local shelter if you can foster a puppy, kitten or older companion animal. Sagittarius enjoys being around the four-footed set, and you’ll help a frightened little soul to calm down and become far more adoptable.
Capricorn: December 22-January 19
You feel as though you’re carrying the weight of the world on your aching shoulders. While other people may be looking forward to going back to their same routines, you know that’s not going to be possible for most of us. And you find yourself fretting over what the ‘new world’ will require – what will be your part in it? How will you restructure your work and family life? Take heart. Saturn leaves your Sun sign by the end of this year, and you’ll wrest a better life out of the new ‘normal’ for you and yours.
Aquarius: January 20-February 18
Do you want to be warned that when Saturn, the stern Taskmaster, leaves Capricorn it proceeds directly into Aquarius? Since it’s ventured into the first few degrees of your natal Sun sign already (and then retreated), you likely have an inkling of what the planet of personal responsibility is going to mean once it’s looking you full in the face. Expect your extremely large circle of friends and acquaintances to be much more subdued than previously.
Pisces: February 19-March 20
You need to establish a few firm routines that you adhere to on a daily basis or you’re going to be drifting and even more morose as the days wear on. Work from home if possible, but keep in touch with your family and friends so you don’t have that ‘other-worldly’ feeling that you’re the only one left in your immediate circle. Reach out and make a few new friends in other offices or professions. Read a new genre of fiction, watch a movie you wouldn’t ordinarily see and write a genuine letter to a friend. Stay the course.
May your hearts be lightened and your spirits lifted by an unexpected kindness this week. – Madame Zombra
