Three poems

 SONGBIRDS IN THE ORCHARD

 Wings flapping, vibraslapping,
 Sputtering and snorting like horses,
 Neighing, whinnying, and nickering,
 Tsk-tsk-ing, squeaking, snapping, squealing, scolding,
Songbirds are just fussy squeeze toys.

 HIGHLIGHT REEL

 Endgame persona.
 Pull some lingo over.
 Metrics.
 Pleats, wrinkles.
 Glowering sun.
 Rainbow reveal.

 But plus things
 For awhile there
 Got crazy.
 Personal Heavy Equipment (PHE).
 Very Powerful Computer (VPC).
 Complex mathematical equation (CME).

 Motherland.
 Fatherland.
 Homeland.
You boil them until they get all tender.
Then post on the community Facebook page.
 Good job, buddy.

 FIRE

On the other side of the river.
 Running in packs .
 Eating trees alive.

 Every tree on this side
Witnessing the attacks on their kin,
 Quivered from within.

 Sigh, sough, gasp.
 Hearing the screams and crepitations.
 Many had to look away.
